MIYA KIM

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Miya Kim has been dancing since the age of three. Miya graduated from The Chicago Academy for the Arts where she was a member of the dance department and now studies at the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College. While training in her program, Miya was selected to be a member of the CAA Repertory Dance Company, worked with numerous choreographers, and performed onstage across the New York and Chicagoland areas. In Spring of 2016, Miya performed a solo in award-winning choreographer Randy Duncan’s piece “Rescue” at the Chicago Taste for the Arts Gala. In Summer 2018 she performed alongside several company members of Joffrey Ballet Chicago, Hubbard Street, and others in Dance for Life Chicago.
